Even though it’s well written and compelling, it starts off a bit cliched. Truthfully, I tried not to like this book.

It’s Desperate Housewives with a touch of The Boy Next Door. There are too many secrets and hidden intentions for that. The characters are well developed, but not necessarily likeable. It’s frighteningly suspenseful in places, darkly humorous in others, and slightly naughty. This book has it all: murder, passion, and betrayal. Miller” by Allison Dickson is a must read for anyone who likes whiplash-inducing twists with their thrillers. What happens next turns the story on its head and gives truth to the old adage that things aren’t always what they seem - and neither are people.įast moving, completely unpredictable, and downright devious, “The Other Mrs. Phoebe all but forgets about the car parked outside until she receives a threatening note.
